In all my years of pirating never used it.
NFL - I just stream on nflbite.

Is IPTV the same as nflbite? But easier ? Might sub just for nfl. Where do I sub for NFL?

The problem isn’t pirates, it’s films and series being available in one country and unavailable in another. It’s greedy af streaming services that keep raising the prices, having a small percentage of overall films and series available and expecting people to get a handful(!) of those, 15€ or more per service(!) just to have some sort of half decent coverage. On top of all that, they keep raising prices while introducing ads for their paid tier(!), they further raid their library of media just so that the consumer is left with mostly crap and maybe a vanishing number of quality films and series.

I don’t know why today, but I’m furious. When having a headache because of a tumor, then the headache isn’t the problem and aspirin isn’t the cure. The problem is the tumor and it needs to be treated chemically, surgically or via radiation.

Piracy is not the problem. It’s the symptom that has been pointing to the actual problem: capitalist greed.

For the longest time I’ve paid for streaming services, still do. But after sitting for over half an hour trying to figure out whether I should watch crappy series 1, 2, 3, 4 or maybe 5, … I refuse to finance some capitalist’s yacht with that. It’s literally degraded to me handing over money, full stop. It’s a one-directional transaction which does not happen in my favour.

I’m angry, hence the vent. I couldn’t care less about some arse not getting my money. I hope they choke on their caviar. My breaking point is reached. Long live piracy.

It’s sports. I don’t think most people give a crap about what’s on live TV except for live sports games. The problem is you’re forced to get cable to view some games, and forced to buy several streaming packages just to keep up with your favorite sports team.

The problem is you often need 3-6 different streaming services just to follow your favorite team all Season.

I am already paying for 2 services to watch all regular season games of my favorite team, this adds up to about 60 EUR per month. To be able to also watch my teams Champions League games I would have to additionally buy the bigges cable package with all kinds of channels I would never watch for around 100 EUR.

omg don’t get me started on this.

My grandparents are avid Red Sox fans, but they were paying 150$+ a month on cable, so I moved them to fubo, this worked for a few years but now it seems that they are trying to throw them on as many channels as possible to force a higher package. Last year he asked me what apple tv was, and I said a streaming service, why? and he said that they had a game on it that /only/ was on apple tv. it was a SINGLE GAME and they had exclusive broadcast rights on it. Needless to say he missed that game, but that’s ridiculous.

I use pirate IPTV to watch sports, primarily baseball. I refuse to sub to cable just to watch baseball, when the other 99% of channels I’d never once turn on. I haven’t subbed to cable in over 15 years, and never will again. Also cut my Netflix sub once they started losing content during the streaming wars. Never again. IPTV + Plex for me.

On one hand, consumption of pirate IPTV services in Sweden has dropped two points, from 16% of all households in 2024 to 14% in 2025. On the other, 30% of over 15-year-olds consume content illegally every month, a figure that rises to over 50% among men under 35.

I hate when they just throw statistics at you like this.

30% of all Swedish people over 15.
50% of all Swedish men under 35.
      14% of all Swedish households.

… I think? Does IPTV = all pirated content?

Only the 14% statistic was explicitly about IPTV, the others are about “consuming content illegally”. It seems like maybe there are multiple surveys involved?
