Nah my sound card looses 95% of functionality on linux and a huge chunk of it’s quality with that.
its such a big loss of features , it would be worse than most on board sound cards on windows with their drivers installed ( they have atleast some functionality )

I want to switch to Linux but 3 things hold me back atm ,
My sound card having only very basic support under Linux.
Lossless scaling being more a limited hobby project under Linux.
And gamepass not working
And maybe a few games which won’t work due to ac.
Basicly I can run 9b models on my 16gb gpu mostly fine like getting responses of lets say 10 lines in a few seconds.
Bigger models if they don’t outright crash take for the same task then like 5x or 10x longer so long it isn’t even useful anymore
So very worse.
I’d argue that 99,9% don’t use full disk encryption cause it’s Infact a performance degrading feature.
And there’s nothing to be stolen , all my passwords are in a password manager , all important accounts including the password manager have 2fa.
If someone isn’t a pw manager or 2fa it’s all their fault honestly.
Reddit warned my account ( first warn in 10 years ) and deleted the comment when I told a American he can strike peacefully to show the government they are against it.
I got a warn for recommending violence by an ai , the human that checked it agreed and didn’t remove the warn haha.
Reddit is just feared that their censorship goes public.

If you open nfo files by double click Windows open a system info tool.
But if you open nfo files with a text editor with "open with " it shows it’s text.
So it didn’t gather anything.
And I would argue unzipped files are less dangerous because you kinda can assume what you download already.
It’s also a good idea to have a av.
Avast is very friendly regarding piracy as in they seem to only flag actual malware and not necessarily keygens cracks and stuff ( heuristics can still make mistakes just report them as false positive )
