Blue Shift was originally a bonus campaign for the Dreamcast port of Half-Life, which is why it was so short and didn’t add any new mechanics. When that port was canceled Gearbox turned it into a full paid expansion despite it having a fraction the content of Opposing Force.
I like how in Journey mode you can unlock infinite replication for every block or item by sacrificing enough of them. The concept of giving up potential power now in return for a huge payout later intrigues me. I just wish it was more balanced with higher costs or a cooldown or something, since certain items break the game when you can spam them endlessly even if they’re several steps behind in the equipment progression chain.

Except those imports were used by a huge section of code you temporarily commented out, and now you’ll need to manually select a dozen imports to get it working again when you come back to it.
(Sure you could have just commented out the unused imports, but the linter auto-sorted them and you’re feeling too lazy to copy-paste a dozen scattered lines)
