That’s not the point. It’s bad for lithium batteries to be full all the time. That’s why iPhones wait to charge the last 20% until right before you wake up, and why Samsung phones have the option to limit charging to 80%. However, the most ideal charge for battery health is between 50-60%, so if you leave your Deck plugged in all the time, you should limit the charging to that for maximum battery life, and only charge it higher when you know you’re going to be needing it.

Is it mathematically impossible?English11·14 days agoYou don’t have to, private trackers have systems to deal with this. On MAM, for example, you get points for seeding, regardless of whether or not somebody is downloading from you. I stopped keeping track of my ratio months ago, but last time I looked it was like 23 and I have somewhere above 150 freeleech tokens. So basically nothing I ever download is gonna be held against me.

That includes a full Servarr stack. I’m pretty sure whatever you have will probably do the trick.

Most of them throw ratio at you, because you get it for seeding even if nobody is downloading from you. Shit, on MAM, I actually only have a 0.3 ratio, because everything is seeded so well. But I’ve been given credit for a 23.1 ratio.
If a person feels like they’re being forced to donate, it’s probably because they’re a leecher, and used to being able to just quit torrents whenever they want.

Go get ‘em, tiger! I look forward to the articles about AI being stopped coming out any day now.

Brilliant. Hey, even better, you should host your site on something that charges you based on usage, that’ll really show the AI makers who is boss. 🤣
