I would prefer a model that does not demand infinite growth, leading to ever declining quality and services. I would prefer a tech site that’s satisfied bringing in a comfortable and steady flow of profit.

Learning/practice, and any use that feeds in sensitive data you want to keep on-prem.
Unless you’re set to retire within the next 5 years, the best reason is to keep your resume up to date with some hands-on experience. With the way they’re trying to shove AI into every possible application, there will be few (if any) industries untouched. If you don’t start now, you’re going to be playing catch up in a few years.
Ehh. There’s certainly some outlets that coordinate with the GOP on talking points, but it’s not direct control and coordination like the Dems practice with media outlets.
It’s more like the GOP and conservative outlets are receiving marching orders from the same oligarchs. The Dems are overtly directing their media partners.
None of this is speculation. We’ve seen the email leaks on both sides to prove it.
Yeah, you’re not wrong. Really it’s that the Dems have better control of and coordination with the media outlets.
Which is also why the Dems are super big on social media censorship. They feel it’s a threat to their media control.
‘You must name the person who banned my specific neighbor, because I refuse to acknowledge the existence of anything that does affect me personally and directly.’
‘Well hold on, it’s not fascist when Dems do it.’
Then you have a terrible memory, or more likely just don’t pay attention when Democrats are in office.
I’m about to come back and edit multiple sources into this. One sec. Done. Thanks for making my point exactly. Dems are more dangerous because y’all are lulled to sleep when they’re in office. By your own admission, you straight up don’t even notice when a Dem does this shit.

Compared to Dems doing the same thing covertly. As I explained in the comment you’re replying to.
That’s actually why I’d say the GOP is the “lesser evil” compared to Dems, because they ultimately want the same thing but the Dems are competent enough to pull it off without people noticing.
For example, everyone’s rightly going after Trump’s deportation schemes, but very few of them realize Trump is still isn’t keeping up with Biden’s deportation numbers. So the Dems end up being better fascists by doing it quietly.
Also be aware that the Georgia attorney general has declared that not bringing your phone to a protest will be considered criminal intent. They’re now trying to punish people for not having their tracking devices with them.

This just in: a hammer makes a poor screwdriver.
Actually, you’re out of your depth, and I think you’ve been outed enough. We’re done, and I’m blocking.
No, I’m not gonna dox myself.
Reasoning for what? What details are you needing for clarification?
Studio Ghibli does not have exclusive rights to their style- whether it’s used by a person or an AI to inspire a new image. Those are derivative works. Totally legal. Arguably ethical. If it’s not a direct copy, how has the studio been harmed? What work of theirs was diminished?
I’m advocating for tools. How people use those tools is on them.
I’m not evangelizing. You incorrectly stated the limitations and development paths of the tech, and I corrected you.
Again with the religious verbiage from you. But I’m the one proselytizing?
It’s not nothing- it’s an impressive feat of technology that’s still in its infancy. It’s also not everything, and not anywhere close to a reasoning mind at this point. You are obsessive with extremes.
People have been presenting the work of others as their own for all of history. All that changed was a new tool was found to do that. But at least these are a form of derivative works, and not just putting their name directly on someone else’s carbon copy.
That it has to be nothing or everything with you, decision trees or God himself, is the likely foundation of your inability to have simple objective take on the existing technology and its capabilities. It’s giving bi-polar.
Now I’m not uninformed- I’m too informed!! LoL. That goalpost just shifted right across the field, and still you cannot admit to your ignorance.
No one told you to hand it over. A technology being able to do something does not require you to use it. And people misusing the technology to feign talent is a reflection of the people- not the tech.
I’m not talking about neural interfaces. I’m talking about organiod intelligence.
I am a computer scientist with lab experience in this. I’m not pulling this out of my ass. I’m drawing from direct experience in development.
And that’s an accidental admission that you didn’t notice when the Dems were doing this stuff. Exactly my point.
