Im not watching ten seconds of that guy.I watch people like Ben Shapiro all the time because I don’t want to exclusively live in my echo chamber and it’s good to challenge your beliefs and staying up to date with all sides.
I prefer the more moderate conservatives but it’s good to watch everything.
Something i am concerned about here on Lemmy is the instant downvoting without discussion of dissenting opinions. Hardly conducive to bringing about a revolution if we won’t even engage with certain people.
Seems like a massive circle jerk at times where we can all feel superior because we have empathy. But i want actual change and not just to seem like I’m progressive.
